Not about anyone in particular, I know a few Anna's though I don't have any feelings I'm dying to confess to them. I went back and fourth between "Anna" and "Hannah" when writing this but Anna was easier to say so I went with that.

I doubled a 6-part vocal harmony for the backing vocals after recording the harmony for the main melody to add a sorta church choir thing to the song, singing the parts of the chords in two octaves to get the right sound. For the "Fake Strings" (as I put it) on this one, I used a computer program called Musescore to write out, on sheet music, the musical notation for the different parts of the string quartet. After I had created the parts I wanted, I went to my piano keyboard and found sound fonts that were close to the instruments I used in Musescore and recorded those parts individually. I think they came out nicely, however, if I were ever to rerecord some of these songs someday with a competent producer and some good players, this is definitely one I'd redo.
